Our craftspeople are highly skilled with over 20 years of combined experience in a variety of related fields such as: traditional woodworking, heritage carpentry, renovations, cabinet making, furniture making, wooden boat building, architectural millwork, drafting and wood finishing. Owner Profile: Joe Rizk, President

Since childhood, Joe has always had a knack for making things often impressing those around him with his attention to detail and innovation.

Over time a lifelong love affair with wood has developed. Today his passion and knowledge drive him to create things of wood; things of art.

"I believe that pure art has no function other than to be art. The primary aspect of what I create is always function, my challenge is to make a functional piece as artfully as possible, pushing the combination of art and function to new personal limits."

Joe has extensive experience in related woodworking fields including: finishing carpentry, rough carpentry, cedar-canvas canoe building, millwork, cabinet making and furniture making.

He is a graduate of the Heritage Carpentry and Millwork Program at the Heritage Institute in Perth, Ontario.
